Resident spotlight: Fashion designer Maxime Fruit
From London to Paris: Coppermaker Square’s community helps designer achieve his dream
Designer and creative director Maxime Fruit is on his way to Paris Fashion Week, after showcasing his latest menswear collection at Coppermaker Square.
Maxime, who lives in our Harrison building, has worked in several high-end fashion houses, including Alexander Wang, A Cold Wall and Undercover in Japan. With the help of our onsite team, he hired Coppermaker Square’s private dining space to sell samples of his high-quality Italian-made footwear, outerwear and clothing.
It was an opportunity for him to promote his work to the whole Coppermaker Square community, as well as his wider network and Instagram following. And it paid off – he made 22 sales on the day; allowing him to secure and pay for a showroom at the next Paris Fashion Week.
Maxime advised the team that : “He made impressive sales and absolutely loved Coppermaker Square and this is the main reason he moved to Coppermaker, was to be part of a community and meet new neighbours and grow his network.
Coppermaker Square team said it was great to see the community come together to support their creative residents. “This event shows how diverse and dynamic our community of residents is – and how a small idea can grow to make a real difference.”
